About me
My name is Yasmin, I am 24 years old and live in Switzerland.
I first became interested in photography in 2014 and have had my own camera since 2015. It is an SLR, a Canon 70D, which I still own today. As I love spending time in nature and travelling around the world, these are themes that are reflected in my photos. In 2018, I really got into self-portraits for the first time. As a result, I soon did my own first self-portrait shoot. It's a completely different kind of photography for me. It's much more about trying things out, taking an incredible number of photos, dealing with yourself and also just being able to enjoy the peace and quiet around you.
Due to my everyday life, it was unfortunately quite difficult for me to take the time in between and dedicate myself completely to photography. I would like to change this from 2023 and have therefore bought a second camera, a Sony Alpha 7c, which is definitely much lighter in weight and also much smaller in size than the Canon 70D. This will allow me to have my camera with me more often and devote more time to photography.
